Welcome!
Hill Country Miniatures
is located in beautiful Sunnyvale Texas just 12 miles east
of Dallas, home of Exclusive Genetics. We
have six jacks that we breed to, and they are either Grand
Champions themselves or come from Champion bloodlines. We
have many NMDA and ADMS Champion Miniature Donkey jennets
that we breed to, and we believe that the jennet is as
important to producing a great foal as the jack. We
specialize in black, dark spotted and sorrel colored
Miniature Donkeys and often have gray-dun and brown
colors as well. Our goal at HCM is to produce a show quality
miniature donkey, usually 31" to 34" tall, through
selective breeding from the finest bloodlines and pedigrees
in the US and Canada. Due to our large herd, and vast array
of bloodlines, we are able to offer both fine boned, smaller
donkeys and the stocky heavy boned variety as well. We
regularly send donkeys across the States and many donkeys
are exported to Europe, and can send you video's of a particular
animal to assist your decision making process. We
also will help those that are new to the business to learn
to show, and also mentor those that just want a quality
animal as a backyard pet. All of our donkeys are
imprint trained at birth, and regularly spoiled by a small
girl, so they are great with children. They are used
to dogs, cats and ducks, and all are trained to walk, trot
and stand before they leave here. Please feel free
